My story

I am an engineer and an entrepreneur. I wrote my first line of code when I was still in school and got involved with my first startup in my second year of university. Geek Meet is borne out of my combined 8 year career in entrepreneurship and tech.

Geeks … Meet?

There is a widely acknowledge problem with CEOs struggling to meet CTOs, and vice-versa. In the last 3 months, I have been inundated with requests for referrals for technical folks. But even after referring someone great, other factors meant they most often didn’t make a good match.

The unfortunate truth is that non-technical people don’t typically run in the same circles as their technical counterparts. So not only is it harder to meet people, but when you do, the chances of there being a good personality fit are very slim.

My service aims to solve this gap in the market by first, identifying the folks that are interested in entrepreneurship and, second, using a matching algorithm to identify good pairings.

How does it work

All you need to do right now is sign up to join the service and connect with me on LinkedIn. Once registered, you will receive a weekly email with your specially selected match from the database. You will also get some prompts and conversation topics for your first meeting to assess whether you two are a good fit. After you’ve had your first call, I will get in touch to get feedback and ask if you want to meet someone new the following week.
